A brief islandwide mobile data slowdown reported on Tuesday morning has been resolved, according to network operators monitoring congestion indicators.

Users described intermittent loading on social and maps apps for under an hour. Voice calls were largely unaffected.

Operators said no major cable fault was identified and attributed the episode to a temporary traffic spike.
